ABOUT US
At Stoicheff’s Auto Parts, we’ve been proudly serving the State College community for over 50 years. Founded in March 1972 by Greg Stoicheff, our family-owned business has weathered decades of change on North Atherton Street, growing from a small, independent auto parts shop to a trusted local institution. While the neighborhood has transformed around us, our commitment to quality service, expert knowledge, and a deep connection to the community has remained unchanged.
Greg Stoicheff grew up in Lewistown, where he worked in his family’s auto parts store. After high school, he was drafted into the U.S. Army and served as a combat medic in Vietnam for 21 months. Upon returning home, Greg, with the support of his father, took the leap to open Stoicheff’s Auto Parts in State College, marking the beginning of what would become a 50+ year legacy in the community.
What began as a small venture in a rapidly changing commercial corridor has since grown into a multifaceted business, adapting to shifts in the auto industry and expanding into areas like U-Haul, small engine services, and lawn and garden equipment.

For over 28 years, we’ve been an independent U-Haul dealer, frequently ranking among the company’s top 10 independent locations. We take pride in our ability to fulfill every reservation, no matter how far we have to go to make it happen. In addition to our auto parts and U-Haul services, we’ve become a trusted dealer and servicer for Husqvarna and Gravely outdoor power equipment.

What sets us apart isn’t just the range of services we offer, but the personal touch we provide. Whether you’re restoring a classic car, need a hard-to-find part, or are simply looking for friendly advice, you can count on Stoicheff’s for knowledgeable service, fair pricing, and a commitment to going the extra mile. We’ve built our reputation on trust, and many of our customers have been with us for decades.
Thank you for supporting Stoicheff’s Auto Parts — where quality, experience, and family values are always in stock.
